We are now looking for a Case Officer (Planning Officer) for an assignment focused on urban planning and referral management. The role involves managing and coordinating referrals and cases from authorities, network owners, courts, and other stakeholders, with the aim of safeguarding the interests of the organization and contributing to effective development and management of important infrastructure facilities.

The assignment is suitable for you who have experience in case preparation related to the Planning and Building Act and who thrives in a role with many points of contact, where structure, clarity, and quality in processing are crucial.

About the role

As a case officer, you are responsible for coordinating and responding to referrals within the framework of several different legislations, such as:

• Planning and Building Act (PBL)
• Environmental Code
• Electricity Act
• Road Act

The referrals may concern issues such as road plans, nature reserves and area protection, establishment of solar and wind power, battery storage, as well as consultations from other network owners prior to concession applications.

The role is central to ensuring clear referral responses that both safeguard the organization’s claims and create conditions for the expansion and reinvestment of transmission networks and associated facilities.

You will be part of the Urban Planning unit and work in a team together with case officers, community contacts, municipal contacts, and coordinators.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage, prepare, and coordinate incoming referrals and cases
• Develop referral responses in dialogue with internal specialists and external actors
• Safeguard the organization’s interests in planning and permit processes
• Ensure that referral responses comply with relevant legislation and maintain high quality
• Contribute to efficient processing and reduce lead times through a structured approach
• Participate in business development related to processes and working methods
• Engage in collaboration with authorities, municipalities, network owners, and other stakeholders

Requirements

To be considered for the assignment, you need to have:

• At least 2 years of work experience in urban planning, with handling and preparation of cases related to the Planning and Building Act (PBL)
• A degree in urban planning or another relevant education deemed equivalent
• Good knowledge of relevant legislation such as PBL, Environmental Code, Electricity Act, and Road Act
• Excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

Other

• The assignment is performed with placement in Gothenburg and the possibility of remote work up to 50 %
• Meetings may occur at other offices, for example in Sundbyberg or Luleå
• Travel may occur and will be compensated according to the applicable travel policy
